Toomas Vink-Lainas. Born 1943 in Tartu, Estonia. He passed away January, 2015 in Shokan, NY. He lived in the area for over 30 years. He was a successful graphic artist, operating the Eclat award winning Emphasis Group in Kingston, NY until his retirement. He won many Hudson Valley Awards, worked over the years for Sports Illustrated and Classic Magazine. He was a talented jazz drummer, painted with both oils & acrylics, and was passionate about cooking traditional cuisines from his travels as well as his native Estonian foods.
