After studying art and design at Northern Secondary School in Toronto, Steven began his
career as a graphic designer and production artist in the mid-sixties. During the
next ten years he continued to hone his craft in print shops, publishing houses and
small advertising agencies eventually establishing his own design/print production
company. During the next almost 40 years the company’s focus was on logo
design, corporate annual reports, brochures, newsletters and a large stable of
consumer & business magazines and corporate publications as well as school
text books. Business demands left little time for personal creative outlets. Since
full retirement, Steven has created a number of works which now grace the walls
family, friends and collectors in Canada and the United States.
