Canadian artist Liina Peacock has held a life-long interest in visual arts. Peacock is a respected, abstract/mixed media artist, who is inspired by contemporary living and inventive expression. Through her well honed artistic judgement, she produces dramatic , bold, and meaningful compositions with her well balanced arrangement of textures, silhouette, and form.
Liina is a spontaneous and emotional painter and loves the journey of discovering new areas of expression so her art is not consistent, or recognized as being in any one particular style. Her hope is that the viewer will be drawn into the painting, where they can make new and unexpected insights for themselves.
Peacock has served on several art boards and councils, and is currently an active member in many respected art initiatives, each promoting art, art culture and artistic recognition. Assured and focused, she consistently produces fresh, imaginative, original artworks for juried shows, society exhibits, galleries and online auctions. Her works are found in both private and corporate collections throughout North America.
